🌊 How to Book Your First Appointment Online with Sailwinds Medical Group

 

We’re happy you’re joining Sailwinds Medical Group!

You can easily schedule your first appointment online by following these steps:

1. Sign in or create your MyChart account:

• If you already have a MyChart account, simply log in.

• If not, click “Sign Up (no activation code)” to create one.
  2. Once logged in, choose “All Options” when asked for the reason for your visit.
  3. Under specialties, select “Internal Medicine.”
  4. Choose “New Patient – Sailwinds Medical Group – Internal Medicine.”
  5. Pick the date and time that work best for you, fill in the required fields, and add any details you’d like your provider to know.
  ✅ Your appointment will be confirmed once you click “Schedule it.”

Be sure to complete your new patient handbook (which includes consent to treat) prior to your visit and submit via a MyChart message. This can be completed in person at the time of your first check-in as well.

💡 Insurance Reminder

Sailwinds Medical Group is in network with most major and local insurance companies.
However, every plan and subplan can vary. It’s your responsibility to confirm that your specific plan lists Sailwinds Medical Group as in-network before receiving care.

Be sure to bring your insurance card and identification to every visit. If you first visit is virtual, upload your documents in MyChart prior to your visit. Absence of this documentation may result in your appointment being cancelled and rescheduled.

💡 Medicaid/HMO patients

If you are establishing with Sailwinds Medical Group, call your insurance provider and change your primary care provider (PCP) to one of our providers PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST VISIT. If you are being seen by a member of our team for specialty care, be sure to have your current PCP send us a referral PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST VISIT. Failure to do so may result in the need to cancel and reschedule.
